Terms of sale and license
Last updated
These terms cover buying and using the paid Pro add-on for Universal Accessibility Audit ("Pro"), sold by Justin Adams ("we") through justwhat.net. The free plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later.
Software license
Pro is also licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. Your purchase is for a license key that turns on Pro features, delivers updates and gives access to support, for the number of sites in your plan, for one year.
Renewal and cancellation
Licenses renew automatically each year at the price shown when you renew, unless you cancel in your account before the renewal date. If you cancel, Pro keeps working until the end of the year you paid for. We'll email you before each renewal.
Refunds
See the refund policy: a full refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal.
What the software does and doesn't do
The plugins test web pages against accessibility guidelines using automated checks and report what they find. Automated testing cannot detect every accessibility barrier, and using the plugins does not by itself make a website compliant with any law or standard, including the ADA, Section 508 or the European Accessibility Act. You remain responsible for your website. The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the plugins is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim.
Acceptable use
Only scan websites you own or have permission to test.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we'll email customers about material changes. Questions: use the contact form.
